This workshop discusses a key managerial skill: delegation, which can be successfully learned. If a manager/supervisor is not delegating, he/she is not managing effectively. Managers and supervisors must focus on the five functions of managing, which are planning, monitoring, communicating, evaluating and leading.
This requires learning new skills and delegating those that can be delegated to employees. Managers and supervisors must learn to delegate well and effectively because delegation is an excellent way of developing people, improving production and saving time.
